Welcome to Family Chore Manager (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a family (parent/admin) account. Parents are responsible for any child accounts they create or invite and for supervising their children's use of the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and your family code confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access other families' data, disrupting or probing the Service or its security, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using the Service to violate any law or another person's rights.
You retain ownership of the information you enter (chores, names, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give notice and you may choose whether to subscribe. Continued use of paid features will be subject to the applicable plan terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which may be zero).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
